Community Spirometry Service
Suffolk GP Federation provides a community spirometry service at 7 locations across Suffolk. Across our services, we try to provide a local clinic so patients do not have to travel too far.

Community Spirometry Service
The aim of the spirometry service, is to support the diagnosis of COPD and Asthma. The service is not for COPD monitoring or for patients who already have a diagnosis.
Appointments are available weekdays and Saturday mornings, dependant on clinic location. Those are as follows:
- Ravenswood Medical Practice, Ipswich
- Wickham Market Medical Centre
- Minor Injuries Clinic (MIC), Felixstowe Community Hospital
- StowHealth, Stowmarket
- Mildenhall Health Centre
- Guildhall Surgery, Bury St Edmunds
- Sudbury Health Centre
Patients are referred by their GP and test results are sent back to the GP as soon as they have been interpreted by a Respiratory Nurse.
Our team consists of Respiratory Nurses & Technicians who are all ARTP trained and accredited.
If you think you need a lung function test, please see your GP practice who will assess if you are suitable to attend one of our clinics.
