You can make an appointment by contacting your registered GP practice and asking your receptionist about GP+.

You can also be referred via the GP Out of hours service, or by Ipswich and West Suffolk hospitals’ A&E departments.

Feedback from patients is overwhelmingly positive – with 84% saying they would recommend Suffolk GP+ to family or friends.

GP+ is staffed by GPs, Nurse Practitioners and Practice Nurses.

It aims to make it easier for patients to book an appointment – allowing you to see a clinician at a convenient time that fits in with your working day.

With patient consent, clinicians have electronic access to your health records so that they can understand your medical background, which helps with assessment and treatment. The notes are updated so that your own GP can access details of the appointment. Full details of how we use you information can be found here.
