Ruth has been a GP in Suffolk since 2008, currently working for SGPFed OOH and GP+ Services in addition to salaried in Woodbridge and formerly a salaried GP trainer at Saxmundham surgery. She was a partner and trainer at Derby Road in Ipswich for 8 years. Ruth is a former member of the Suffolk Local Medical Committee. She has a dual role as Deputy Medical Director for Ipswich and East Suffolk (with portfolios including UEC and planned care, Mental health) and Associate Medical Director for Medicines optimisation for SNEE ICB.
