Help shape the future of primary care in Suffolk.
Unity Healthcare is looking for an exceptional Practice Manager to join a progressive, multi-site organisation that is transforming how care is delivered for our communities. Working alongside an established Senior Leadership Team and supported by Suffolk GP Federation, you will play a key role in delivering operational excellence, leading teams and driving innovation across our services.
Following the successful creation of the Unity Healthcare Hub and the integration of practices across Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford, we are continuing to transform how primary care is delivered. This enhanced role will be central to improving patient and staff experience and supporting our ambitious vision for the future.
As part of Suffolk GP Federation, Unity benefits from specialist support in HR, Finance, Quality, Estates and Payroll, giving the Practice Manager the backing to focus on effective leadership, performance and improvement.

- Develop and lead teams, creating a positive, accountable and high-performing culture.
- Work with clinical and operational leaders to improve quality, performance and patient experience.
- Embed transformation and service-improvement initiatives across Unity.
- Build strong relationships with patients, the PPG, the PCN, the Federation and wider system partners.
Is it for me?
- You will have experience of leading operations in general practice or a comparable healthcare setting.
- Strong people-management and leadership skills across teams, sites or disciplines.
- A track record of delivering change, new services or service improvement.
- Confidence using operational and performance data to identify issues and improve delivery.
- Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- An understanding of workforce, financial, quality and regulatory requirements in general practice.
- A commitment to learning and professional development. A relevant leadership, management or primary-care qualification is desirable.
